A tutorial showing how to sink objects through wood floors or roofs without Place Anywhere, Mods, or DLC's.

This video demonstrates a way for players without Wasteland Workshop DLC to "Fire Glitch" without a camp fire. I highly recommend watching my previous tutorials on the campfire and garden plot as there is a lot of information that applies to the no-fire glitch as well. It would have been redundant and taken a lot more work to include it in this video too. Here are the links to those vids.

I do feel that almost everything that can be done with a camp fire can be done no-fire (excluding Bethesda built structures like a lot of the stuff in the Murkwater vid). That being said a lot of it will not be easy. It is much more work to do things no-fire and it also requires a lot more planning and build order. We cannot just slap down a camp fire where we need it. A lot of stuff will have to be assembled from the top down or built off the structure and then be group selected into place on the structure.

I still do not have much experience with the no-fire glitch so I'm sure there is still a lot to learn. Since I have the DLC's there is not a ton of motivation for me to grind away at figuring every nuance. I do think the short stairs may be a better choice than the totem sometimes. Much like the shack bridge the stairs seem more forgiving to the depth of the dirt than the totem does. The downside is their footprint is bigger than the totem, and they also want to snap sometimes which is a pain in the A.

I made a short vid with some of the extra footage I had. Not much here but shows this working in other settlements and also a longer version of merging the roofs. It shows how much more work the no-fire is over the camp fire.
