In this mod review I cover the Weapon Perks Overhaul

If you miss the distinction between Energy & Conventional Weapons from previous Fallout games and want your player perks to take into account this distinction instead of the type of barrel they have, then this mod is for you!

ENERGY WEAPONS:
- The perk Science! rises the damage of small energy weapons

SMALL GUNS:
- The perk Gunslinger, renamed Small Guns, rises the damage of small ballistic weapons

RIFLEMAN/COMMANDO:
- Rifleman keeps the vanilla bonuses except the damage increase
- Commando keeps the vanilla bonuses & lowers weapon AP in VATS

PISTOLS:
- The non-damage bonuses given specifically to Pistols by Gunslinger are there for ballistic pistols & moved to Science! perk for energy pistols

Science! (Bonus to energy weapons)
Rank 1: +25% damage. Non-automatic energy pistols have increased range
Rank 2: +50% damage. Non-automatic energy pistol have even more increased range
Rank 3: +75% damage. Non-automatic energy pistol attacks can disarm opponents
Rank 4: +100% damage. Non-automatic energy pistol attacks have a much better chance to disarm opponents, & may even cripple a limb

Gunslinger (Renamed Small Guns - Bonus to ballistic weapons)
Rank 1: +20% damage.
Rank 2: +40% damage. Non-automatic conventional pistols have increased range
Rank 3: +60% damage. Non-automatic conventional pistol have even more increased range
Rank 4: +80% damage. Non-automatic conventional pistol attacks can disarm opponents
Rank 5: +100% damage. Non-automatic conventional pistol attacks have a much better chance to disarm opponents, & may even cripple a limb

Rifleman
Rank 1: Non-automatic rifles ignore 10% armor.
Rank 2: Non-automatic rifles ignore 15% armor.
Rank 3: Non-automatic rifles ignore 20% armor.
Rank 4: Non-automatic rifles ignore 25% armor. Chance of crippling a limb
Rank 5: Non-automatic rifles ignore 30% armor. Higher chance of crippling a limb

Commando
Rank 1: Rigorous combat training means you use 10% less Action Points in V.A.T.S.
Rank 2: You now use 20% less Action Points in V.A.T.S. and you have improved hip fire accuracy with small guns.
Rank 3: You now use 30% less Action Points in V.A.T.S. Hip fire accuracy with small guns is improved even more.
Rank 4: You now use 40% less Action Points in V.A.T.S. and automatic weapons gain a chance to stagger opponents.
Rank 5: You now use 50% less Action Points in V.A.T.S. and automatic weapons have a greater chance to stagger opponents.
