Fallout 76 Beta short gameplay review The hype train
0This being a beta, as everyone says, the game will change for the better.But i don't think we will see big changes because even a small change will need large amounts of time.
This is Fallout 4 with more enemies, weapons, armors, items, crafting.....but at the same time with even less RPG elements, NO NPC on the entire map, questionable performance, very cluncky combat, very random loot, a lot of ways to get free items.
No npc but you get a lot of tapes to listen to, very bad in my opinion because all the story is told through them and you only see robots and dead people but always hear alive people.
The base building is very underwhelming and cluncky again....each time you log out you go into a new server.
This game really needs years of work to actually be an enjoyable experience because it's so hard to actually balance a game this huge.
This game will make you love it but then you will just switch off and don't play for months or weeks.
If i had to give a grade to the game in Beta it would be 63/100.
I had to extract points for all the cluncky combat, lacking features, lack of rpg, lack of NPC and the grinding missions(only type of missions) that are strictly multiplayer(at least 3-4 people).
But we will see what happens.
PS: the game has an item shop and it's basically made for BR survival matches.....so the future doesn't look bright. I also couldn't play at better settings because it was too laggy when people or air drops came.
