To escape the Great War you had to be important, wealthy and powerful, or you had to be incredibly lucky, to have been one of the few specifically chosen by Vault-Tec to descend into the earth and survive the flame deluge, or at least that’s what you would have been told, in truth only a handful of control vaults were actually the saving graces they were made out to be. As for the other vaults, you were nothing more than a guinea pig, a lab rat to be used and discarded, and those who rode out the storm in Vault 108 soon realised what group they belonged to.
