Preoria mission is one of the most interesting and atmospheric in FT. It Reminds me of the Glow quest of Fallout 1.

Its not hard if you are not intend to save each and every wachutu people life, but I decided to achieve a one hundred percent result. For that we have to put one sentry on top near the entrance to the facility. The sentry's tusk is to take the turrets fire to protect the tribals. The surface defense system is supposed to go online in ten seconds after pulling the “inner/outer” defense control switch but the turrets show up for a brief moment anyway. So we must use everything to lower a chance of failure and time for new attempts.

First we should use the shortest way to the switch by all means, the whole procedure to reach it from the mission start takes like 7 minutes. All that can be done later should be postponed to save that time in case of a failed attempt. Second the sentry should have a maximum hit points after your character while your character is needed inside. The upper turrets cause bigger damage than turrets below. As for you inside, the situation may go worse than expected. For example the Roachor is usually dumb but sometimes he starts to spit and his attack is dangerous. That's why you go below while the second high HP squad mate stays on the surface. Third when you move on the world map and outdoorsman check failed its better to load. I tested it and the result showed that a quick load and starting over in such case is faster to reach Preoria then reaching the entrance from a random map after you were dropped there with no guarantees that this outdoorsman fail is the last one before in journey to the mission.
