[Fandub Test] Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere - Erich Jaeger - 'Awakening'
7For the past few months, I've become engrossed by the Ace Combat series. It's quickly become one of my favorite series of all time. One of the more interesting titles in the series, Electrosphere takes place in the year 2040, with a war between corporations instead of nations. The full 52 mission, anime cutscene, voice work laden original came stateside missing half its missions as well as the cut scenes and voice work. Thanks to a translation patch from a team called Project Nemo, the original version of the game is playable in English for the first time.
This scene is taken from the first mission, Awakening.
I've been meaning to do this for a LONG time. It's easy to say that I was very hesitant to, due to the major issue of attempting to match the lip flaps, as well as making sure that the Japanese voice over isn't being played at the same time as my voice over, plus keeping the background sfx consistent. All in all, I probably made more work than I needed to, but it was fun nevertheless learning to match my performance to lip flaps. I hope you enjoyed!
