Strategiespiel im Fantasyreich Mystara, 1993 von Silicon Knights entwickelt und von SSI vetrieben. In Fantasy Empires übernimmt man die Führung über ein fantasytypisches Volk wie Zwerge, Menschen, Orks und Elfen, um ein mächtiges Imperium in Mystara zu errichten. Das Spiel hat einigie Besonderheiten zu bieten, so kann man den Herrscher mittels eines einfachen Charaktereditors selbst erstellen, die Schlachten gegen einen Computergegner können arcadelastig in Echtzeit geschlagen werden und der nette, alte Mann oben im Bildschirm (namentlich der Dungeon Master) hat auch immer einen, vollvertonten, Ratschlag parat. Die VGA Grafik ist schön anzusehen, lediglich das etwas zu seichte Erobern und die simple Verwaltung des Reiches trüben den guten Gesamteindruck.

In Fantasy Empires you take the lead of a typical fantasy nation like dwarves, humans, orcs and elves to build a powerful empire in Mystara. The game has to offer a few unique features, so you can create the ruler by means of a simple character editor itself, the battles against a computer opponent can be beaten arcade-heavy in real time and the nice old man on top of the screen (named the Dungeon Master) always has a ,full spoken,good advice. The VGA graphics are beautiful to look at, just the plain conquering and the simple administration of the empire tarnish the good overall impression.
