Just west of Fall's End in Holland Valley is Parker Laboratories.Head there and talk to Larry Parker who'll be stuck in the middle of some sort of machine.He'll ask you to turn off three generators around his house - you can find them by following the blue cables coming from the machine.Once you're done Larry will enlist your help in combatting some imminent threat.This will let you start The Heroes Journey Sidequest.up Go Back to Parker's Laboratory in Holland Valley.Go Back to Parker's Laboratory in Holland Valley.Now head East of Fall's End along the main road to find a large radio tower.You will need the grapple perk to climb the tower and it's one of the best perks to have for exploring the world, so purchase it if you haven't already.

Being near a main road there are frequently enemies passing by this area so be careful as you climb the tower.Grapple up and climb the first two ladders to reach the first satellite dish - shoot it to destroy it.Then grapple up to the next landing to destroy the next dish.

Larry will contact you over the radio saying he's coming to help so climb up to the final ladder to see his helicopter.Grappling onto the helicopter is the easiest way to take out the rest of the satellite dishes so climb up and Larry will circle the dishes so you can take them out.Larry will then fly you back to his lab and talk more about this threat.Once back at Larry's lab the area will be taken over by cultists. You'll need to take them all out before Larry will talk to you again.Across the road there's another building which also may have cultists in it and others may come by the road randomly.This can make it hard to talk to Larry and complete the mission so make sure to take everyone out in the area before trying to talk to him again.Talking to him again will let you start the Close Encounters Side quest.Go back to Parker Laboratories in Holland Valley.Talk to Larry after you have completed The Heroes Journey to start the Close Encounters Sidequest.Next up Larry will send you out to the crop circles out near the Lamb of God Church.It's your job to find glowing green objects out in the field.

There are enemies here so take them out first. Be careful as one of them might be an armored flamethrower guy who can set fire to the grass.

Follow the waypoint to find your first glowing object inside of a cow - the cow still glows after you take the object but this doesn't mean there are more there.More enemies might show up and across the way to the green-roofed building is peggie armed with a rocket launcher who will take pot shots at you from there.

The next glowing object will be in the center prong of the crop circle with a bunch of turkeys around it who will attack you once you take it. If you're haven't updated your game the turkeys can be surprisingly tough but this has since been fixed in a patch.You can find the next one by some boxes and hay barrels but a dog will take it and run off with it.If you follow the dog for a bit he should eventually drop the object so you don't have to kill him.Head to the rusty looking tower with eagles circling atop it. The next glowing object is up there.Head round to the nearby water tank and climb up the ladder then jump to the roof of the next one.This will get you in position to jump to a ledge on the tower and then climb the ladder to the next floor.While still inside the tower jump up to the next level with a chair, a telescope, and some solar panels.Then climb that ladder to the top to get the object out of the eagle nest.Head back to Larry again to start the Out of This World sidequest Talking to Larry at Parker Laboratories after completing the Close Encounters sidequest will trigger the Out of This Wolrd Sidequest.

Larry will ask you to head North to the transformer station because he needs more power for his next adventure Once you arrive the area should be free of enemies so just head on in.Go to the back left corner of the fenced in area to a wooden shed to turn on the panel.This will set off an alarm and cultists will arrive soon so work quickly to reroute the electrical transformers.Leave the shed and turn right up the wood stairs and under the pipes to hit the first switch.Then head into the other fenced section Go left over the wooden crates for the third switch on a separate white building.towards the back for the second switch.Turn around and head up the ladder to the tall tower and jump up to the next level to find the fourth switch - if enemies are already there it's a good opportunity to have some hight and take a few out to secure your next path.From there you can zipline across to the next identical tower for the last switch.You can catch another zipline back to where you came in to make a quick escape and head back to Larry.
