Faulty Towers | Dwarven Skykeep (Tower Builder Defence Game - Demo)
144Dwarven Skykeep is a game where the fantasy world dwarves, so used to living and digging and working underground, get to go up to the surface and build a wonderful tower! Yes OK there are still pesky villain types trying to knock it down but we can deal with them!
Our journey begins as we are guided by a raven to a mirror shop, where we step through a magic mirror and emerge up on the surface. We have to do some tutorial type levels, just to get used to things, and then soon enough we're able to play on our own.
We build our towers using cards. Blocks fit together depending on their entry and access points and we can put things into the blocks to turn them into useful rooms, such as a workshop to make repair tools. Very handily we play as a wizard so we also get to make use of some magical powers to smite our enemies as they attempt to knock down our tower.
However it's not as simple as it sounds, as we experience fires, floods, explosions and general incompetence.

There are countless worlds in dire need of just one thing: a gigantic tower that should stand proudly as a constant reminder of your might and glory. Now grab your pointy hat, jump into the mirrors and let’s get building!
The Dwarven Skykeep is here to test your problem-solving skills. Being a powerful mage is good and all but are you capable of defending your tower when enemies are storming the walls, and half of your property is flooded, with the other half is burning to the ground. Where are your ever-so helpful dwarves when you need them? They’re dead drunk on mead!
Build, Upgrade and Defend Your Towers
Draw cards and implement your building tactics on-the-fly. Create rooms and generate resources, plan your strategy, solve any issues that arise, craft Spells, defeat Goblins, and then repair anything they damaged. Be sure to stockpile beer to keep your Dwarves happy!
Tune Your Deck Wisely
Build your deck to deal with any challenge. There are six types of cards: Blocks, Rooms, Tools, Upgrades, Combat Spells, Support Spells and Creatures. Select your cards strategically as you create and defend your magical towers.
Dive into the City and Live its Stories
Visit Dwarven City in between levels, then listen to folk's stories to unlock new quests and world's areas of which discover the lore behind. Collect cards, awards and items by going deeper into the story to improve your skills and increase the number of strategies at your disposal.
Weight Up Your Choices
Oh no, your basement is flooded! Will you pump the water out, drain it away with ingenious digging or heat it up with fire to evaporate it? What will the be consequences of your actions? There are many solutions to each problem, but the correct one is never obvious – you’ll have to be a wise mage!
Say Goodbye to Gameplay Routines
Every new game throws you into unique situations with high replayability. Fresh starter cards and random gameplay events require the you to use the available resources in different ways. You'll need skill and a bit of luck to complete all of the challenges, and no doubt your tactics will improve as you go along.
