The Struggle... For The Perfect Hat | Crusader Kings 3: Fate of Iberia
280Crusader Kings 3 is back but this time we're taking a look at the new Fate of Iberia Flavour Pack, which adds all sorts of things to the game but most importantly it adds quite a lot of new hats! There are many wonderful head toppers, from what looks like a variation of a fez through to a splendid looking hat with an Easter Egg on top, but which one do we settle for?
We take a look at the second most important thing in Fate of Iberia, the new Struggle mechanic. This adds a whole new event that affects the entire region of Iberia and gives everyone involved a huge load of exciting bonuses. As we play the game we trigger catalysts which move the struggle onto it's next phase where different bonuses can be found.
There are two new casus belli types linked to the struggle, one that allows us to grab land that we border and another that allows us to a spot of pillaging!
We also take a look at some of the new additions from the Castle update, such as the new Dissolution Faction, which can destroy a Kingdom or Empire title held by someone, and the new Play a Board Game option, where we have a nice game of chess against people.
There's also war, subterfuge and murder because it's Crusader Kings 3!
