Favourite VGM 22 At Dawn (Sonic Adventure)
2A lot of the times, I don't know what I'm going to do for these videos, but then a song like this one jumps up and makes the decision for me.
Sonic Adventure was my first exposure to the Sonic franchise, although I didn't play it a lot. I remember playing through the Emerald Coast with a friend on their Dreamcast, escaping the Killer Whale and rescuing animals. I don't actually think we did any other levels. It wasn't until way later that I actually saw later levels in this game or actually played the game itself.
While there's certainly a lot more songs that stand out for me in other Sonic games, this is the one that always comes to mind when I think of this game. It just has that feel of magic and nostalgia to it that even though I never actually heard or played the levels with this song until much later, it just reminds of this period of time. It's kind of similar to how I feel about Stickerbrush Symphony.
It's not the only song that makes me feel this way in this game there's a ton of fantastic and memorable songs, but this one stands out to me personally.
