Things immediately start to get a bit more challenging. Looks like I'm gonna have to focus more on playing well. I certainly hope my commentary doesn't take a nosedive as a result.

Anyways, like before, we have to stop the Darkwright Bandits from screwing stuff up. Story wise, these first few chapters are the same, but with more character development, which gets a stamp of approval from me. Though, I'm kind of surprised at how stilted some of this dialogue seems (Asher's dialogue especially seems forced during his "I slept with a girl" confession scene), especially since I'm pretty sure the dialogue was written by Furetchen, a person who seems specialized in story writing. But honestly, most of these are just minor missteps at best, and the story seems pretty competent so far, if uncompelling.

I also don't particularly like Ilanice. I've never been a fan of people who you could easily pass off as Jesus for their levels of selflessness. What does this girl do for a living that she's so comfortable helping villages without accepting anything in return? Maybe there's an explanation somewhere, but either way she just doesn't rub me the right way.

And despite how I act in these videos, I don't actually mind that Garath and Renair are a little... enthusiastic about their work. It makes them more interesting.
