FE3H [EP.33] 1/4 Geralt's Belongings | No Commentary | Fire Emblem: Three Houses
This month is the start of the White Heron Cup. This competition doesn't seem that important, however it is your only chance to obtain the Dancer class for one of your units (Byleth can never get the Dancer class sadly). Who you pick doesn't have a big chance on your chance of winning, despite what some characters may say. However, as you will learn from Manuela, the person who is most likely to win will have 13 Charisma at least. You can dance with your chosen representative to give them an extra +5 boost to Charisma.
You will have to select a representative by the third week of the month, or your house will not participate and you will lose the chance to get the Dancer class on a unit. It shouldn't be too hard, as some units will have at least 13 Charisma by this point (unless you're able to do a low level run) and with your additional training session, you should be the definite winner.
Once the contest is over (and if your class wins), your unit will gain the right to reclass into the Dancer class. It is a unique class (ie. like Noble/Commoner) so you will have to look into that section. Similar to the Dancer class from previous games, Dance will give another unit an extra turn. Not an ability to be taken likely.
Battle: Salvation At The Chapel
You've got another mission to save individuals. This time, it's students against monsters.
This is going to test your skills against monsters, because they are your only opponent. You are joined by Jeralt again, but he's not going to be able to take down a monster by himself. At least, not at a rate fast enough for a student to come out alive.
If you're not sure how to defeat monsters, now would be a really good time to review Sothis' tutorials. I would highly recommend getting units with Combat Arts that are effective against monsters, because your biggest obstacle is going to be smashing through those barriers (the yellow squares). You don't have to break all of a monster's barriers to defeat it (though it helps considerably), as you just need one square to be broken for your units to start dealing large amounts of damage to that specific square.
Gambits are fantastic for drawing attention away from the students and towards your units. Even if they don't break the barriers, Gambits will hurt monsters and not give the monsters a chance for a counterattack, which is pretty painful.
If you're trying to save all of the students (you get a reward depending on how many students you save), your biggest problem will be reaching the monster at the upper left. It's not stronger than any of the others, but it is farther away and thus a bit harder to reach. You'll have to have cavalry/fliers make a straight charge to it if you want to reach it in time.
To be honest, this mission won't be difficult if you want to take your time and really don't care about saving the students (as heartless as that sounds). Since only one monster will likely turn its attention towards you at the start, the rest of the monsters will be occupied and you can take them out one at a time. If you're not powerful enough/ill-prepared, that's probably the only strategy you can afford to do anyway.
Refine your monster slaying strategies here, and once that's done, the battle is over!
Here's a walkthrough with the Black Eagle House and some recruits:
Once the battle is over, you're done for the month!
