One of those super-short maps that FE7 has so many of, when it's not having another defence chapter that you cannot stop. This one has the unique map objective of Talk to Boss (of sorts), and the 2-turn seen accomplished here is accomplished in a vanilla run by having Florina rescuedrop an 8 mov unit so that they have enough movement to reach Fargus on the 2nd turn, with a good deal of danger involved for Florina especially (and possibly the other mounts to a lesser extent).

We don't have an 8 mov unit, or two as a vanilla run would have, but we do have a refresher in Ninian and she makes the 2-turn possible, with a lot of room for fulfilling side objectives to boot.

This is the first map since chapter 13 where Jaffar's combat is a necessity - the fliers and Athos have been managing just fine without him in all other chapters. Specifically, we want Jaffar to ORKO three of the lv. 17 Pirates attacking him, some of them with scary stats, since he doubles and 2HKOs facing 0% hit rates from all of them.

The high-levelled enemies here (that you're not really supposed to fight if you're flier-skipping the map) are good experience, but we haven't got the time to take them on. There are all those houses for us to visit, the Sleep staff being by far the most urgent one (Short Bow, Dart and Devil Axe aren't that bad at all; in fact, I can already see myself using the latter to train Isadora's axe rank up maybe?). The archer is actually so hard to double, that's how different he is from a normal archers faced in any other chapter of the game, that Vaida has to resort to critkilling him with a killer lance to get that delicious exp. Everybody else isn't as lucky, visiting houses on their turns.

Notice how Jaffar gets double experience proccing Lethality on the first Pirate that attacks him - I made sure his level-up isn't totally wasted, but that's iirc the 2nd level-up he got and he still hasn't got any strength. To even be able to proc Lethality later on Jaffar needs to at least deal some damage to an enemy, so strength is kind of a concern to him, especially knowing that Matthew will be joining with 15 base strength, if we're even capable of recruiting him (swapped places with Renault).

So that's how that is; I wish FE7's chapters were bigger, which is probably why I do still like the other GBA FEs a little more than this one.
