An indoor map that's long for FE7 standards, and we've got a dancer in the party to speed things up. The vanilla turn count (that's not easy to achieve) is 6 turns, but that's rushing in with Marcus and probably a second Paladin from Lyn Mode and not caring about sustaining serious damage at all. We may have Ninian with us, but our units don't move as far, kinda care about dying (the nomads and archers really do endanger Farina) and we have other things to do other than carrying Athos to seize - dragging Ninian forward just about every turn, not to mention rescuedropping Geitz so that he can rescue Legault, and a unit who can Lockpick is of great use for us, since Jaffar doesn't do any of that.

So miracles don't happen, and we settle for the same 6 turn clear, which is pretty interesting to do still considering all the side objectives (hopefully Echoes and Heroes don't make IntSys forget multiple objectives are a great thing not to be neglected for the upcoming FE Switch game).

I start handling Ninian in a really risky way on turn 1, but shortly settle down about that - while I could keep rescuedropping Ninian further than everybody else in the party, doing so will scarcely help the army as a whole move more quickly. Even if nobody dies (the chances of that happening are pretty low without full-on rigging, though you do see me pull off something of the sort on turn 1, and I guess 2 as well), enemies will stand in the way of the party and if it's Ninian they're all attacking, they won't get themselves killed on enemy phase. Good luck moving forward next turn, as all the frontline mounts struggle to remove the enemies out of the way (the nomads can be tricky as Javelin!Farina tends to fail to double them), and this is pretty bad news considering we need most of them to contribute to pulling firstly Ninian, secondly Athos and also Geitz sometime along the way too.

The focus on mounted units forces me to not deploy Nino, as she would find it troublesome to find combat after the first turn or so (the archers hanging around the starting point aren't worth an extra deployment slot). Isadora and Rath are the only mounted non-fliers in the army, though Heath and Vaida don't really engage a dangerous number of bow users for us to be worried about them.

Farina is the one doing most of the heavy lifting combatwise. Her risk of death may be there, but isn't high enough with us taking the time to use a Vulnerary with her a couple times. The fact that she attracts doods like nomads to direct their fire at her is helpful because she happens to put the biggest dent in these enemies.

Vaida has been catching up to Farina too - while she will never be as good at facing mages due to low res, she's much closer in terms of attack speed, what with not being weighed down by Javelins as much.

This happens to be a good map for chests too - Hero Crest will probably end up being sold (I could also promote Karla with it... she is forced in the final map after all), but the Knight Crest will be useful in promoting Isadora, likely as soon as she hits lv. 10 (unless delaying her promotion doesn't cause any loss of turns - there's nobody else with 8 mov to rely on until she or one of the flier girls promotes). The Unlock staff is helpful in Final too, and because of how much exp it gives in this romhack, Renault is actually already prepared to promote. Good luck with that knowing the specifics of Guiding Ring acquisition in this challenge though.
