When you make one style of game for well over a decade, you're bound to make mistakes -- it's often best to correct them, and such was the case with many systems that FROMSOFT and the players alike deemed to be bad -- case and point, things like Soul Memory or World Tendency; the question is, was it worth getting rid of some of these features? I feel like sometimes, certain tweaks or minor changes could do the trick, as opposed to flat-out removing them. There's also the argument to be made that some features are ''lore accurate'' to the games they belong to, hence why they shouldn't make a return -- and truth be told, that's completely understandable, but still, I wish we had some of these today, even in a game as polished and great as Elden Ring.
