Basically unlock Trusts as soon as you get to level 5. Touch all Home Points to get fast teleports to and from anywhere you've touched one. Keep killing outside your nation. When your kills start showing as easy prey (EP) move over to the next section of the map. For Bastok it's Furmaroles where the crabs and Goblin's are. Then head to Vulkrum Dunes around level 15. Becareful when you travel through the tunnel to get to Selbina, the bats will aggro you. There's a snipper/leech camp straight ahead of the Outpost. Unlock the subjob quest in Selbina at level 18. The Isacio is to the far right of Selbina. Kill Damselflies for the worm, snippers for the crab apron, and Ghouls for the skull (only appears at night around the beaches).
