Welcome back to Tiny Blue Games! My name is Csaw or Chris, and today we are about Final Fantasy 14. Specifically, we will be talking about some of my favourite features that the game offers. The first thing I wanted to talk about is the job/class system. I think FF14's ability to play all jobs with one character is still one of the most unique features the game has to offer. In no other MMO have I felt as encouraged to try out new playstyles. The second thing I decided to talk about is the in-game cities. I think FFXIV does a great job of creating cities that feel alive and vibrant. The music, structures and NPCs make each city feel unique and beautiful. Finally, I talk about the sense of celebration the game provides. Specifically, at the end of dungeons, trials, and raids but also when you accept a new quest or unlock a new piece of content. Ultimately, this is just a small list of the many amazing features the game has to offer. I encourage you to share your own list in the comments!
As a relatively new ffxiv player, I have enjoyed giving my first impressions of the many different pieces of content this game has to offer. If you are interested in exploring the game yourself I suggest you check out the Final Fantasy 14 free trial. This trial lets play all the way to level 60 (including both the base ARR and Heavensward expansion), with no time restrictions. It was ultimately the free trial that convinced me to dive into the full game and the new Shadowbringers expansion!
