Week 1 clear. Shoutout to everyone in OK2BG, you guys are amazing, and we did fantastic this last week. XD

Is this fight fun? I honestly don't know. It feels almost like i played a meme or a tech demo for 9 minutes. Gaiaochos feels like a cheeky reference to the zoomhack controversy that surrounded the TOP world first that happened a few months ago, but the mechanic in practice is super slow, does like no damage, and has an extreme-level execution requirement. The hardest part of the entire mechanic is unironically the fact that the awkward view makes it easy to accidentally launch yourself off the edge of the flat planet.

This fight as a whole has a really weird flow. All of the mechanics are really slow paced, and are more about complex real-time solves than it is about being good at dashing and dodging things.

Caloric theory in particular feels terrible to play. Everyone gets a debuff that wipes the raid if they travel more than a certain amount of distance, and it's pretty damn tight. This gives it a really awkward interaction with auto face target, since it can turn you and cause you to run unexpected distances. I just stop dpsing entirely to do that mechanic, its kind of weird. ALSO ITS BUGGY AT THE MOMENT. Even if you do the mechanic correctly there's a random chance the debuff refreshes and wipes you.

Some mechanics have more nuance than you would think (caloric theory and the panta rhei protean baits), while some mechanics that look scary are boringly simple (pangenesis and the christopher columbus mechanic).

It's just such a weird fight to follow from such a fantastic door boss. I adore superchain theory as a mechanic, and this whole fight is just...sluggish.
