When we see and here about bots in ffxiv we assume they get banned because it is against terms of service (tos), but there is evidence of bots in our every day life even if we dont see them when in the open world of ff14. how bots make money and having had a member of the botting community reach out to me to explain their side of things makes me think maybe it's time to talk about what botting does for the game and start the conversation about what would happen if they were banned.
