From ffxiv 1.0 to ff14 2.0 ARR (A Realm reborn), the game was rebuilt from scratch. today 2.0 in considered the start of the game for new players, but it had a lot of compromises to hit its release schedule and stay on budget. Yoshi P has had a huge role in this and see his vision into Heavensward, Stormblood and now Shadowbringers, its obvious they wanted thigns for the game that didnt make it into ARR. We have commonly said another calamity as the lore calls for could easily let them rebuild it and add things like flying, better quest design, a more usable open world, etc, but why dont they do it and what could be a good way for them to consider it? Let's talk about that!
