CORRECTION to our FFXV exploratory test-We discovered anomalous behavior in the bench that'll be fully detailed in our GPU bench video, due shortly. In the meantime, our scalability chart has been updated (see article). 580 shows bigger deltas than 1060, indicating bigger GameWorks slowdowns than previously expected on AMD. We are now seeing 81.4% of performance at High (RX 580) and 95.5% of performance of a 1060 at Medium.
Our FFXV GPU benchmark was completed while finalizing this video, and is now in editing for production and upload. Stay tuned for that! We also have FFXV CPU benchmarks coming up, including Ryzen comparisons.
