FFXV: COMRADES Ex. - Rematch: The Bladekeeper's Trial
0This is a pretty sloppy performance, but I did the first phase only once, like three days ago, and this was my second attempt at this quest. The mechanics are simple enough to follow, if you've gotten used to your own attack patterns at this point, but if you have AI with you, it's just a royal pain keeping them alive.
Being the healer, I want no part in the close quarters combat, so I cheesed him out with Crossbow charge attacks to force him into the next phase. The second phase is essentially just warping out of his regular attacks until you see the Parry prompt, then you need to haul ass to the middle and block.
As far as party makeup goes, anything should work, but if you want my opinion, it's pretty standard. One Oracle, one Tall/Rogue, one Just, and one Pious. A Warrior can be useful, as I assume you can provoke Bahamut, but I haven't tried that yet. Still, it couldn't hurt to have someone to place most of the aggro on, so he doesn't wreck your healer.
All in all, fun fight.
