FIGHTING THE ARCHIVIST AND ACTUALLY USING MY FILE AS A GAME MECHANIC?!
In Today's video, I played Inscryption. So, this video was supposed to be completely different. It was supposed to be me, trying my best to beat that one battle I struggled with yesterday. After recording it, I remembered there was another way. So, I left, deleted 1 hour's worth of footage, and restarted. As soon as I entered, there were 2 battles. I won and then found the skeleton with a piece of ice in his head, who cleared the path for me. I also traded with PO3. I added a sigil to one of my cards and started a battle on a bridge, which took a while to win. Wilkin Tankson, a country hunter who tried to attack me before, came back on the bridge, but I fended him off. I then got to a checkpoint and a worn-down building. I then did something special. I charged the skeleton, which dies every turn, but PO3 told me if the card died, I would lose it, which is just what happened. I also got a card, did a trade, trapped a rabbit, and got a pelt, and then I was met with the decision of 2 battles. But first, I went to some guards, who asked me to sign something, but I didn't have anything to sign with, so I left. I then went into a fight, and after winning, I found a well. Inside was a quill (a reference to Grimora, since this is supposed to be her area) and some money. The other battle just led to a locked door. After signing, we get to a Userbot called the Archivist. The Archivist would only attack with Liberals. Upon killing you, HE PULLED UP YOUR FREAKING FILES AND ASKED YOU TO PICK ONE. Depending on the size, tons of damage points would be added in your favor. During Phase 2, though, the Archivist asked you to pick a file dear to you. After doing so, it was created in a card, but if it was destroyed, HE WOULD DELETE IT. Fortunately, it didn't die, and I won against the boss, giving me a shine on the 4 pillars at the beginning and the ability to add a sigil to the empty vessels. The sigil I chose was the one that does damage upon being hit. But, the memory card was full. After putting in a new one, we see Luke Carder getting an Inscryption pack, scrolling through some stuff, and calling the person who sold the cards to him. Apparently, the seller's daughter, who died in the factory where the cards were created, had them. He then becomes paranoid, and he also starts hearing footsteps at night, saying he might die because someone snuck into his house. There were also the static options, which showed a code, AND LUKE PLAYING THR REAL VERSION OF INSCRYPTION, WHERE HE PLACED A BLOODY OBJECT ON THE SCALE, WHICH IS MOST LIKELY HIS REAL TEETH. And that was it. What was supposed to be a boring episode turned out to be very shocking. Yeah, I'm a bit scared for Luke.
