Gameplay commentary:

Swamp B is supposed to be part of the Forest stage if you start from Forest 1; you go to Forest 2, then onto Swamp A or B. However, you are unable to play Forest 1 to Swamp B in Stage Practice.

Swamp B (where you face the Minotauro boss instead of the Bison) occurs if in previous stages, you faced the Bison first (usually by going right after Warehouse 3 onto City 1). If you faced the Minotauro first, or avoided both bosses, you will face the Bison instead.

Swamp B:

One of the flies will drop an apple, not too sure which one, just be on the lookout for it so you know where to look in the water.

Minotauro boss:

Personally, I find fighting the MInotauro in the Swamp more annoying than the Bison. Mainly because his foot speed is faster than you think, and he will chase you down if you try to run away to combo his buddies; if he just gets in the way, he'll easily screw up the combos you do on the weaker enemies. When I did multiple runs though this substage, I often could not get a chance to cleanly combo and explode all his buddies.

If he does give you trouble if you're trying to finish off his teammates, you can grab and throw him away, instead of trying to outrun him.

One strategy I displayed in this run that wasn't in the Passage 1 run: if you're up-close and he tries to hit you with his 2-fisted overhead strike, 2 early regular jump air chains should be able to move you to his back.

Be aware of the items that several of the weaker enemies drop, and remember where they're located in the water:
The red pig during the 1st wave will drop an apple; she'll come in from the right side.
One of the Pugicats (either the red shirt & blue pants, or the yellow shirt and brown skin) will drop a pipe.
One of the purple Wolves (usually near the end of the group) will drop a hyper orb; use this in combination with the pipe to easily defeat the Minotauro.
