Final Doomer | Tarnsman's Projectile Hell: Shrine at the Foot of the Mountain | No Failure Run
Late for another vid, I know. Another day where me and my folks travel all over sorting out papers for the trip I mentioned a while back. Was particularly exhausted when I got home, had just enough time to run something a bit calmer than the usual NFR affair. A return to Final Doomer, for once!
Yeah, it's been a while since I last played FD. Ran one of Whitemare 2's maps for Cirno Day (using a small addon patch to replace all the boss spawns to Cirnos) and that was pretty much it. Figured this time around I swap things around and swing JPCPGuy's katana for a while. E2M1 of Tarnsman's Projectile Hell served well for a nice and short run before I could finally pass out on the bed.
It's not hectic, I know. It's the first map of episode two and is at best a warm up for the maps later, but the neat old Japan architecture from the other maps are still here and the encounters can have occasional tricks up its sleeve, like that sudden rear archvile spawn out of nowhere. Decided to try going for all secrets today, and I think I did pretty well in this one. Still an overall short run, though.
