Recently updated the HL2 reskin set to also have hostiles, based the thing off of a QCDE addon that adds in HL enemies. Not exactly satisfied with it since I had to pretty much fill circles with squares, and a lot of the modelshots were based off of the beta stuff for reasons I can't comprehend (would probably need to replace those with proper final release modelshots when I figure out how to batch that kind of stuff), but it was decent enough to have a proper themed experience. Decided then to play a relatively old mapset that's technically themed around HL2 but not really, Epistle 3.

I'm not sure what drove me to play as Naturist in this run, I guess it's 'cause the first map wouldn't be so interesting otherwise. +30-something enemies and most of them are lost souls with maybe 2-3 zombieman at the very end. The second map certainly tests me, what with a section having you fight enemies right next to a voodoo doll covered by pillars, which if shot will bleed you to death with no way to bandage it 'cause it's hidden behind pillars, fun times.

I think there's about 6-7 maps in this mapset, but they're a fair bit short, so this'll be one of those multi map vids instead of just me playing through a single one. The story's simple enough for anyone familiar with the whole Epistle 3 thing, so I hopefully wouldn't need to elaborate on that. Simple level design, with practically entirely vanilla textures (which is why I'm loading in a texture pack to spice up the mood a little bit), but mostly doable with HDest.
