https://www.patreon.com/ulillillia --- It's been on my wishlist for about a decade - setting the "points" at exactly the limit (32,767 I suspected) and basically having nearly 6-figure max HP and upper 5 figure max MP. I needed a cheat device like Codebreaker or Action Replay in order to do it, or a way to pull the contents from the memory card to the computer so I could edit the save file to do the same thing. It was only when I went at playing this on emulator (PCSX2) that I was able to even realize this long-lasting wish. The full extent cannot be realized as actual max HP caps at 9999 (bubble status is the only way to raise that to 19,998).
With that cheat activated, hendled, and deactivated (since it corrupts save files), another one I found, unexpectedly, was breaking the damage limit. Normally, most actions limit damage to 9999 for no real reason other than being annoying. Well, I found a way to break that limit. So far, about 67K is the highest damage popup I've seen. I haven't pushed toward the most ideal setup possible yet.
The use of being HP critical activates the "adrenaline" license, which doubles the damage (as opposed to a 20% boost from focus at full HP). Plus, when a level up occurs, focus deactivates because of the sudden missing HP. Adrenaline doesn't have that problem. Plus, couple that with the zodiac spear and damage gets really high. If I had bravery (don't have access to it yet but would be 30% more damage) and berserk, those hits for 16K would be doing close to 31K. Throw in sleep status on the enemy and that's 47K. It's not the biggest damage I could do though. The biggest is actually 6 figures. With the burning bow and fiery arrows with a maxed strength and speed, together with max level, that's probably about 9K damage base with adrenaline active. Throw in being fire weak and oiled, like a giza rabbit, also sleeping, that's now 81K. Add bravery and berserk in along with a critical hit and, yeah, mid 6-figures, easily, like 300K.
Generally, this just shows the fastest way to get LP. Mosphoran Highwaste, I find, is one of the best and easiest places (and it also has my most favorite song in the game).
This video also features a first in a long time - simultaneous recording of the game play while also capturing my voice. This is thanks to the mixer I got several months ago. As usual, the standard is that the narration is on the left channel and game's audio is on the right. By simply adjusting the balance, you can choose which you'd like to hear most.
