Final Fantasy 7 Remake At Gamescom Could Reveal More
15Gamescom is arriving very soon. A scheduled showing will be airing on August 19 2019. And according to Geoff Keighly "More than 15 game publishers will premiere new content and make announcements during @gamescom Opening Night Live. An exciting show is coming together for Monday, August 19! Hope you get to tune in and watch the stream!"
Originally I suspected there to be nothing new about Final Fantasy 7 Remake until Tokyo Game Show 2019 but, seeing SquareEnix on this list I think we may just get a new piece of information.
We have to manage expectations so Im not going to predict something wild like a public demo. But, I do think we could see a new teaser or trailer during the live stream. What I would love to see more though would be a complete walkthrough of the demo. While this would not be the same as getting hands on with the demo it would be the next best thing.
The only thing that could stop a walkthrough of the demo would be time constraints during the live stream. Surely they have a lot to show especially with the amount of great games releasing next year. This leads me to believe we could just get another teaser or trailer.
But, what would they show next?
Based on speculation and the order of events in the story I would say the next big reveal would be the Turks. We could also see a quick look at Elmyra Aeriths foster mother.
I don't believe they would show off Red XIII just yet as we still have quite a few events until the release of FF7 Remake.
I suspect they would want to save something for the Tokyo Game Show and possibly a PSX especially since this is a PlayStation Exclusive.
It has been very dry for FF7 Remake news but heres hoping this comes to an end on August 19 2019.
