These are my gameplay impressions for Final Fantasy 7 the Windows 10 Edition.
It's slow in the beginning in terms of gameplay and the pre-rendered backgrounds look terrible at first, but it picks up pretty quick after the first couple of hours. The story along with the writing is good as well and simple enough while the combat system is solid for an RPG. The Materia for your equipment and limit breaks help differentiate FF7 a bit from other RPGs. Also it is short enough to still be worth picking up on game pass if you so choose.
