Final Fantasy 9 Walkthrough-ish Part 26 | It's time to d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d dread playing Tetra Master
1In this part, we head to Treno to play in a card game tournament and go sightseeing. I guess this is the Final Fantasy equivalent of a vacation. Enjoy! Like and subscribe for more!
The REAL reason this is called Walkthrough-ish and not walkthrough, I forgot my own advice of stealing as much as I can with Zidane up to now and hence, damage dealt with Thievery is only 2000+, it should be twice that amount if you've been successful stealing throughout the game so far.
To do list for this part.
- Hand in all your Stellazio to Queen Stella.
- Watch the ATE's in the order I do to get the Chimera Armlet.
- Fight the Monster in the Weapon Shop.
- Buy the Rat Tail and the Dark Matter from the Auction House.
- Go to Dali, get the Mayor's Key in order access the final Coffee for Morrid, as well as a ton of gil.
- Win the Card Tournament to get the Rebirth Ring (teaches Auto-Life).
As for the optional things.
- If you don't have Vivi go home, you'll get another ATE in Treno about the slums, but you miss out on more of Vivi's backstory.
- If you say with Freya you're not interested in Amarant's, then the next ATE doesn't trigger, again, missing out on backstory.
As for Tetra Master, there are several guides that can help you sort of understand the game. This is the only time I play Tetra Master since this is the only time it offers you anything good.
