The party has just finished rescuing the people of Salamand and procuring some Mythril in the mines at Semitt Falls. Now, it is time to deliver the Mythril to the rebellion in Altair.
In the rebel base, they report in to Princess Hilda (time 0:51). They show her the Mythril they got. She asks them to take it to the town blacksmith, Tobul.
In the weapon shop, they deliver the Mythril to Tobul (time 1:38). He eagerly starts to hammer it into weapons and armor. New shopkeepers with Mythril weapons and armor will appear in the equipment shops. I highly recommend getting some.
The party visits Princess Hilda again (time 3:33). Apparently, the Dark Knight overseeing the construction of the Dreadnought is away, so the princess asks the party to go to Bafsk to prevent the Dreadnought from being completed.
The party leaves Altair (time 6:34). Now, they journey to Bafsk. The route is simple. They just have to go northeast up the coast to Poft and then southeast to Bafsk, a town nestled in coastal mountains. There is a ginormous airship in a valley north of town.
The party arrives at Bafsk (time 11:34). It sounds like Borghen is not the best taskmaster. None of the equipment available is worth picking up, but the Esuna Tome certainly is. It cures more status ailments as it levels up.
In the southwest, the party finds a soldier (time 15:05). When they ask about the Wild Rose, he reveals himself as a rebel agent. When they ask about the Dreadnought, he lets them by so they can get to the sewers leading to the Dreadnought.
The party goes down into the Bafsk Cave (time 16:20). They start on level B1.
North of the entrance, they find a chest containing a Longsword (time 16:56).
In the southwest, a chest contains a Longbow (time 19:12).
The party takes the stairway to 1F (time 19:18). This floor is a winding maze.
In the northwest, they find a soldier standing in their way (time 21:06). Uh oh, it's the infamous Dark Knight! His portrait looks a bit familiar. Sadly, the Dreadnought is now complete. He leaves, and so does the traitorous Borghen. The party witnesses the liftoff of the Dreadnought. Well, that's not good.
Back in Bafsk Cave 1F, the party takes the door east of the cave exit (time 22:51). The chest here contains something they need: a Pass to board the Dreadnought.
To the east, they find a teleporter leading out of town (time 23:29). Well, this is bad. The party must now return to Altair to report their failure.
Along the way, they stop off in Poft (time 25:26). They don't need to yet, but they will have to eventually. A lot of people were killed by the Dreadnought's attack.
In the pub, they chat with Cid (time 25:43). When asked about the Airship, he reveals that airships are powered by Sunfire, a new term to learn. When asked about Sunfire, he says that Sunfire is hard to control. Then, when asked about the Dreadnought, he advises blowing the engine. Maybe with some Sunfire, the party can blast the Dreadnought's engine.
The party leaves Poft (time 26:36). They continue towards Altair.
On the way, they also pause at Paloom (time 29:01). The Dreadnought also blasted this place. Confound that Empire!
The party stops outside of Altair. Next time, they will head in and report their failure.
Thanks for watching!
