4This is video #092 in my playthrough of Final Fantasy IV for the PC. This is episode 10 of the third playthrough. I am playing on Hard mode.

Previously, the party visited the Dwarven Castle. When they met King Giott, Cid left the party to fix up the Enterprise. They tried to save the Dwarven Castle's Crystal by defeating Calcabrina and Golbez, but Golbez took it anyway. But the good news is that Rydia has rejoined the party! After exploring the Dwarven Castle and the Developers' Room, the party journeyed northwest towards the Tower of Babil. Now, they will enter the tower and try to reclaim the Crystals.
Underworld:
The party resumes outside the Tower of Babil in the Underworld. As they continue towards the tower, there are three brief scenes of the Dwarven tanks bombarding the structure. When the party reaches the door, they enter.
Tower of Babil (time 1:23):
The party starts on floor B13 in the Tower of Babil. For now, they can only access the lower portion of the tower. Rydia now has Omnicasting from the prior playthrough, and that will help immensely. She can cast Stop on entire troops of Flamehounds to keep the party from suffering a fiery death. Even so, Flamehounds remain very dangerous.
In the northeast of B13, a chest contains an Ether.
Kain reaches Level 36. Rosa reaches Level 32 and learns the White Magic spell Mini. Cecil reaches Level 37. Rydia reaches Level 32. Yang reaches Level 38.
In the northwest of B13, a chest contains an Emergency Exit.
In the southwest of B13, a chest contains a Hi-Potion.
Rosa reaches Level 33 and learns the White Magic spell Dispel.
The party takes the north-central door up to floor B12.
Just west of the arrival door on B12, a chest contains a Green Beret. Yang equips this right away.
Rydia reaches Level 33 and learns the Black Magic spell Osmose.
The south-central door leads to a small room. The treasure chest within contains an Icebrand guarded by a Security Eye. When attacked, the Security Eye sounds an alarm and calls a stronger monster into the fight. However, Yang can defeat it in one blow by using Focus and attacking with Lightning Claws equipped.
The eastern door on B12 leads to another treasure room. The chest within contains an Ice Lance guarded by a Security Eye.
Kain reaches Level 37.
The party takes the central door up to floor B11.
Just west of the arrival door in the middle of B11, a chest contains Cat Claws.
In the southeast of B11, a chest contains a Hi-Potion.
Cecil reaches Level 38. Yang reaches Level 39.
The party takes the south-central door up to the southern fragment of B10.
The chests in the southern fragment of B10 contain a Killer Bow and an Antarctic Wind. Rosa equips the Killer Bow.
The party returns downstairs to floor B11.
In the southwest of B11, a chest contains a Phoenix Down.
The party takes the southwest door up to the main part of floor B10.
The southwest door on B10 leads to a welcome save room. The party rests and saves.
The eastern door leads to a treasure room. The chest within contains an Ice Shield guarded by a Security Eye. After the battle, Kain equips the Ice Shield and Flame Mail for protection against fire and ice.
There are two doors in the southeast of B10. The western door leads to a treasure room. The chest within contains an Ice Armor guarded by a Security Eye.
Rosa reaches Level 34.
After the battle, Cecil equips the Fire Shield and Ice Mail for protection against ice and fire. He passes the Adamant Armor to Yang.
The eastern door in the southeast of B10 leads to an empty room. Yay.
The party takes the northwestern door up to floor B9. The Steel Golems that begin appearing on this floor have a chance to drop Giant's Gloves. However, there is a more convenient place to farm them.
On a ledge just east of the arrival door, a chest contains an Arctic Wind.
Rydia reaches Level 34.
Kain reaches Level 38.
The north-central door is locked.
Rosa reaches Level 35 and learns the White Magic spell Haste. Cecil reaches Level 39. Rydia reaches Level 35. Yang reaches Level 40.
On an eastern ledge, a chest contains a Hi-Potion.
The party takes the northeast door up to floor B8. This is a small northeast fragment. The rest of the floor will be reachable later on.
The party takes the nearby door to the west up to floor B7. They arrive in the eastern section of the floor. The western section will be reachable later on.
A chest in the south of B7 contains a Dry Ether.
The northeast door on B7 leads to another save room. The party rests and saves here.
