Previously, since he had reached Level 75 as Red Mage, Heorot acquired the Limit Breaker key item from the Nomad Moogle near Maat. This allows him to earn limit points at will from monsters that yield experience points, provided his main job is at Level 75 or greater. Then, he went to Cape Teriggan and earned 3 merit points. Now, he will carry out the next level limit quest, "New Worlds Await".

Heorot resumes at his Mog House in Bastok. Since he has 3 merit points, he switches back to EXP mode. He heads out to Bastok Mines.

Bastok Mines (time 0:44):

Heorot uses the Survival Guide at I-9 to teleport to Ru'Lude Gardens, Jeuno.

Ru'Lude Gardens (time 1:30):

At H-5, Heorot talks to the Nomad Moogle near Maat. The Nomad Moogle is now the go-to NPC for level limit quests. Heorot again agrees to be the Nomad Moogle's guinea pig. The Nomad Moogle issues the quest "New Worlds Await". Heorot must bring 5 Kindred's Seals and accumulate 3 merit points.

Heorot trades 5 Kindred's Seals to the Nomad Moogle. The Magian Moogle shows up and zaps Heorot with some powerful moogle magic. Heorot's level limit increases to 80. "New Worlds Await" complete!

Now, Heorot can get back to normal training. He uses the Survival Guide at I-10 to teleport to Cape Teriggan, Vollbow.

Cape Teriggan (time 10:30):

On Cape Teriggan, Heorot continues the training to defeat Velociraptors and Sand Cockatrices. The Sand Cockatrices sure aren't getting any prettier, are they?

Heorot does get a set of Darksteel Breeches from a locked chest. But Red Mage cannot equip them! Boo!

Eventually, Heorot reaches Level 76 as Red Mage.

When he is done training, Heorot uses the Survival Guide at the Outpost at G-8 to teleport to Bastok Mines.

Bastok Mines (time 55:35):

Heorot visits Neigepance at the Chocobo Stables, as usual, to sell off some excess loot. He also visits the auction house to list a stack of Fire Crystals for sale.

Then, he heads to the Residential Area.

Mog House (time 57:58):

At home, Heorot manages his inventory a little bit. Then, he signs off.

Next time, Heorot will continue training.
