Final Fantasy XI #093, More Merit Points; Expanding Horizons: Level Limit 85

Previously, Heorot continued training against Sand Cockatrices and Greater Manticores on Cape Teriggan. He reached Level 80 as Red Mage. Now, he will grind for some merit points so that he can carry out the next level limit quest, "Expanding Horizons".
Heorot resumes in his Mog House in Bastok. In his delivery box, he finds gil from the sale of Wind Clusters and stacks of Fire Crystals. Thank you, purchasers!
Heorot heads outside.
Bastok Mines (time 1:29):
Heorot heads to the auction house. He lists a stack of Wind Crystals and a stack of Water Crystals for sale. He also visits Crying Wind, I.M., at I-9 to recharge his Chariot Band.
Heorot uses a Home Point to teleport to Cape Teriggan, Vollbow.
Cape Teriggan (time 3:37):
Heorot arrives at the Home Point at F-5 in the northwest of Cape Teriggan.
In merit point mode, he continues hunting Greater Maticores and Sand Cockatrices for the Page 5 individual training. "Expanding Horizons" requires 4 merit points as well as 5 Kindred's Crests.
After a while, Heorot earns the required merit points. He switches back to earning experience points.
When he is done fighting, he uses the Home Point at F-5 to teleport to Ru'Lude Gardens, Jeuno.
Ru'Lude Gardens (time 53:18):
Heorot talks to the Nomad Moogle near Maat at H-5. Heorot chooses the option "Exceeding your limits." The Nomad Moogle assigns the next level limit quest, "Expanding Horizons". Heorot must accumulate 4 merit points and 5 Kindred's Crests.
When Heorot trades 5 Kindred's Crests to the Nomad Moogle, the Moogle mumbo-jumbo begins! Oh, boy. This looks hazardous to my health. However, at the end of this procedure, Heorot's level limit increases to 85. "Expanding Horizons" complete!
Heorot teleports to Lower Jeuno.
Lower Jeuno (time 1:02:25):
Heorot visits Waag-Deeg's Magic shop at H-9. First, he sells off his excess loot. From Susu, he picks up a Scroll of Thunder III. He uses it to learn the Black Magic spell Thunder III. The Scroll of Stone IV costs over 100,000 gil! Magic is starting to get expensive, kupo!
From Hasim, Heorot picks up Scrolls of Curaga II, Stona, and Viruna. He uses them to learn the White Magic spells Curaga II, Stona, and Viruna.
Heorot also visits the auction house to list a stack of Earth Crystals for sale.
Then, he teleports to Bastok Mines.

Heorot enters the Residential Area.
Mog House (time 1:07:47):
At home, Heorot signs off. Next time, he will do some more training on Cape Teriggan.
