This time we take apart a cartridge of Final Fantasy Legend II and the results are spectacular. We clean the contact pads to a nice polish cleaned up so damaged traces and applied some conformal coatings over each area.
Playing the game in the Super Gameboy rather than the Gameboy Player because the cart arrived much earlier than originally anticipated absolutely wonderful. Now we have a chance to see the difference. Later for side by side comparisons. All in game footage captured by using a LevelHike upscaler and a ezcap286 video capture device.
The Game played immediately no blowing on the cartridge necessary :cough, cough see it play on vintage hardware really brings back the full nostalgic experience.
