Player: Heroes Of Xanadu - Truly a classic among gaming, and it, as well as Dragon Quest, defined and paved the way for future RPGs. Its gameplay, story, music, and even layout have become industry standards. Not only did it changed gaming, it changed a company and my life. This is the game that really got me into gaming back in 1989-1990. Its was so well-done, original and huge compare to my average side-scrolling game that i was playing back at that time. Also, the financial success of the first game saved Square from bankruptcy which mean that final fantasy 7 or final fantasy 15 etc...would never have been released if the original never existed. Even tough the original will always be the game that had the biggest impact on my life and also my favorite game in the series, i still have much love for the recent final fantasy game. In conclusion, i think this game is very underrated and also not getting all the love it deserve on youtube and its such a shame. I don't expect the kids to understand this but the older generation know that this game was as good as final fantasy 7 for its release time.
