This is the point where I like to talk a little about why I like this game. As per usual if you have a story about why you like this game please leave it in the comments below. I would love to read about it. We are picking right up from where we left off with this one. The past part of this longplay had to be ended mid-fight because I predicted the video running to long. There are lots of big events that are happening in this point of the game. I honestly really forgot how much I love the story in this game. I do think that the first part of the game while you are in Midgard totally feels like a separate game though. I wonder if that's why "REMAKE" focused mostly on that. I just remember when I was a kid playing this game I really liked certain characters but as I get older I am really starting to love others. As you can probably tell from the gameplay footage I really like Barret and Red XIII. However I have also been trying to let some of the other characters get some screen time. I like to play as each character even a little if I can. As I'm progressing though it I am really starting to get the hang of Materia. I am thinking of new and fun ways to combine them together. And, I am also finding combos that don't work. I really like maxing them all out and having as many clever combos as I can think of. But there is merit to having a tank character have no Materia on them and casting berserk on them while they have the "Cover" Materia on. This is one that I have been thinking of trying. I have no real concept of if these will work or not but it's lots of fun thinking of them.
