After failing to keep character LL in my runs twice, I opted for Level 7 Tifa to finish off run. This run was much easier to accomplish. First, put Tifa in the party, and second, kill her anytime you see her revive. Once you have reached the Northern Crater, farm what you need and prepare to take on the superbosses. This kill was inspired by GarlandtheGreat's kills, but I ultimately had to tinker with the build in order to make it work. I found this kill much harder than Emerald.


This kill eventually worked because of the pattern that emerged while Tifa was under haste. You have time to W-item and then coin twice before you repeat. I was throw off once or twice, once almost costing the entire fight at the end because of counter-mime equipped instead of counter throw. As you'll see in the counter setup at end, I greatly screwed up and wasted two slots in addition to this counter-mime.


The strategy is as follow. First move is apply Dazer to Ruby Weapon, and Speed Potion (for haste) on Tifa. Second move is two Hero Potions, or a Hero Potion and Elixir if attacked. Third move is two hero potions or Hero Potion and Elixir if hit. Fourth move is Dazer to Ruby, and any second item that you want. Fifth and Sixth move are Throw Coin for 9,999 dmg. You now hopefully are in a loop. Dazer and free item every third move. Throw should heal and restore MP. Final Attack=Life is in case you mess up. If you replace Counter=Mime with Counter=Throw, you won't screw up.
