This is video #009 in my Final Fantasy VII playthrough. Unfortunately, it's a trap! After trading words with the party, President Shinra sics the Airbuster on the party. Because her attack power is pretty crappy at this point, I gave Tifa the Lightning materia and had her cast Bolt on Airbuster. At least one Cure materia, probably two, are a good idea for this battle. Otherwise, regular attacks and Limit breaks will defeat this monster.
However, the explosion is not good for Cloud, as it leaves him hanging. There is another opportunity for affection points here. If you want to date Barret or Yuffie, select "(Be strong)." To date Tifa, select "(I don't know if I can hold on...)." For Aeris, it doesn't matter.
Soon afterwards, Cloud drops in on Aeris in the Sector 5 Church. Strangely, none of the conversation options affect her affection score, not even calling her the slum drunk. As the story progresses, we meet Reno of the Turks, who seems to be after her for some reason.
