0Time for the big fight against one of the super bosses of FF7! I had lost the first time,but I had gone to grind Power Sources afterwards offscreen. You can easily morph the rhino tanks in Gongaga Village into Power Sources,just gets tedious after a while. Anyway,back to Emerald. His stomp attacks do around 1,000 and hit the whole party. Emerald Shoot easily does 6k-7k damage. When it's shoulder things open,get ready for pain. It always uses Emerald Beam right when it opens up,which seems to be a type of gravity based attack since it never kills. It's 2 blue shoulder beams deal HP damage,while the 2 Yellows deal MP damage. And it can use them constantly and very quickly! You'll want to try to have Big Guard up as often as possible. Full Cure and White Wind work great here,Regen is useless. I found having 2 melee characters in Fury for limit breaks works great,while the mage character has Ultima ready to cast when the shoulders open. W-Item and 4x Cut helped a lot too.It took a while,but I finally beat him!
