1Bane of my youth,because I didn't know how to avoid him ejecting 2 party members at the start of the fight. If both party members are dead and brought back to life at the start,he won't eject them. Now this fight I wasn't as proud of honestly. I had wanted to try finding another way to beat him other than relying on knights of the Round,but alas,I just couldn't find a better alternative. With 800,000 HP,resistance to everything that isn't Bahamut or KotR...yeah. So after my first attempt I went to Kalm to pick up the reward for beating Ruby,Master Magic Command and Summon Materia. So I gave Cid Master Summon for KotR,and gave Cloud Master Command to Mime it. Also,I learned that Ruby is very weak to paralysis. So if you have Dazers,you can constantly paralyze him. As for his attacks,Rub Flame deals moderate damage,while Ruby Ray deals more damage and puts a character into confusion. The 2 claws will constantly attack and deal major HP and MP damage,and put status effects like Petrify,Toad,and Poison on you,so hope you have a few Ribbons. The reward you get from the Kalm traveler for beating Ruby is a Gold Chocobo.
