This video shows the locations of monster crystals in Final Fantasy XIII-2 that are one-of-a-kind. These monsters are only obtainable through the Improved Moogle Throw fragment skill. Monsters are: Chichu, Cactuarina, Rangda, Nanochu, Leyak, Cactuarama, and the Silver Chocobo.

You unlock the Improved Moogle Throw skill (AKA Mog's Manifestion) from the Mystic in Serendipity -??? AF-.

NOTE: If you don't capture the crystal the first time, try again.

0:13 - Cactuarina / Location: New Bodhum - 003 AF
- Throw Mog near the Gate in the Meteorite Impact Site.
1:00 - Rangda / Location: New Bodhum - 003 AF
- Throw Mog from the pier into the ocean.
1:50 - Chichu / Location: The Archylte Steppe - ??? AF
- Throw Mog in the grassy area of the Archlyte Steppe [Plains of Eternity] where the red flowers are blooming.
2:38 - Nanochu / Location: The Archylte Steppe - ??? AF
- Throw Mog at a patch of land in the watery area of the Archlyte Steppe [Clearwater Marshes]
3:18 - Leyak / Location: Sunleth Waterscape - 300 AF
- Throw Mog at the group of Miniflan while riding the giant in the Animal Trail area.
4:23 - Silver Chocobo / Location: Academia - 4XX AF
- Throw Mog at the "projector" platform beneath the holographic representation of Cocoon in the Research Lab area.
5:20 - Cactuarama / Location: A Dying World - 700 AF
- Throw Mog near Chocolina in The Black Sands area.

Special Notes:
• Chichu [COM]: My Chichu I maxed out has the highest ATK stat out of all the monsters I currently have (1216), including Omega, which has 3 points less. It also has 25% strength boost passive ability, 5% more than Omega. It has only two basic attacks: Attack and Ruin, of which both cost only 1 ATB gauge. It has other amazing abilities to complement it such as: Armor Breaker, Bravery Feeder, Faith Feeder, and Vigilance Feeder. Super strong COM monster for being so tiny.

• Cactuarina [MED]: Average Medic with low HP (2340). Only 3 abilities, and 3 locked passive abilities. Not much use at high level, but great for early game.

• Rangda [SAB]: Average Saboteur, but has Endless Nightmare which can be good for infusion. Decent HP around 5000.

• Nanochu [SYN]: Very unique chu Synergist; has Augment Maintenance II (locked), along with Enfire, Enfrost, Enthunder, Enaero.

• Leyak [SYN]: Unique monster with Feral Fatigue skill (inflict status ailments when Feral Link abilities are used). Better stats than Nanochu.

• Cactuarama [MED]: White cactuar medic, average stats, good for early on.

• Silver Chocobo [SEN]: Great for Chocobo racing. Item Scavenger II ability. One of the best.
