Oh man, there goes the jungle!

This run wasn't the best, two bards and no black mage, they at one point rushed into the a boss room and locked me out instead of waiting a few seconds for a cutscene to finish, their loss not mine.

Oh well this wasn't really a fast run either, not an ideal lineup. The Duty Finder is cruel sometimes but sometimes smiles on bards and pairs you with a Black Mage or at least a Dragoon since Disembowel helps a bit. Not as much as Foe's Requiem+a Black Mage going AOE ham with Flare.

Brayflox's Longstop used to be THE premier speedrun destination for grinding myth but in recent patches that has all changed. Myth is SO much easier with the new player bonus from players who haven't completed a dungeon/trial yet, etc. Myth is also going to be phased in 2.4 as well. It's especially lacking in value if you're like me and have bought all the myth gear thus only leaving mats really.

Still, Brayflox is a nice place for those Darklight drops, I pocketed some for when I play Rogue. The Baby Opo-opo minion is also another huge draw, it is by far one of the most wanted minions and one of the rarer ones. Have yet to see it appear in a chest. If you see it and want it, NEED IT or you'll regret it for at least not attempting to get it.

6:39-Illuminati Commander fight. He doesn't do a whole lot honestly but he summons adds that will snipe a party member for about 600. He does some AOE as well but really simple.

11:19-Magitek vangob G-III fight. This one can be a bit nastier, it's like Aiatar since he'll cover the ground in blue liquid. Stay out of it since then he'll blow up the liquid areas doing big damage if you're in them. He'll summon Adds as well just kill them before they do too much damage.

18:20-Gobmachine G-VI battle. The last boss, this one is a bit trickier. The center is generally where you'll want to be. He'll summon adds and become invulnerable so take out the adds. Then he'll drop a ton of bombs. Hit the bombs away with any non-DOT abilities, I was on Bard so this was easier to do than on Summoner. The bombs will explode in a big radius but since you're in the center you'll be safe most of the time. We messed up at first but got our act together on the bomb front.

The boss will then do it again, kill the adds, deal with the bombs again. Then he'll eventually unleash a Big Bomb, you must destroy it or WIPE. The boss will then cruise around a bit more then become vulnerable again so finish it off. Not a particularly hard fight.

The Story is: "Brayflox's Longstop is overrun with forces of the Illuminati; the furious goblin scholars are bent on recovering a secret recipe centuries in the making and a moment in the filching. Having been pressed into service as Brayflox's boon companion, you have no choice but to disregard the facts of her thievery and defend the Longstop from all those who would seize it from its rightful holder."
