This is the NORMAL mode just to be clear on that since as of this video's uploading the next big patch hasn't hit FF14 yet. I do have a video from when I first started playing of this but this run is waaay better and faster since I actually know the mechanics at this point.

Smooth run was smooth but it is the first dungeon in the game and we were all experienced players lol.

9:10-Chopper battle. A Coeurl that does an AOE attack around it, so when you see the AOE circle come up get out of there. Other than that a pretty standard boss it is the first you face after all.

11:32-Captain Madison battle 1. Defeat his little pirate allies and then beat up on Madison himself, once Madison takes a certain amount of damage he'll run away like a coward ending the battle. Not hard so long as the tank holds aggro on them all.

17:04-Captain Madison battle 2. Once again defeat his allies and beat up on the Captain. He'll then summon the infamous Scurvy Dogs whom you'll need to deal with. Usually is best to defeat them first but they don't despawn even when you beat him so keep that in mind. He'll run away again eventually ending the battle.

23:07-Denn the Orcatoothed. This one isn't bad either once you know how things work. At least two of the players should be keeping an eye on the unnatural ripples. There are four in total. When you see the message, "Bubbles begin forming on the water's surface" that means interact with the bubbling ripples to stop Adds from spawning! In this video we totally were on top of things and didn't see a single Add spawn. This is the way to do it, me and I believe the other DPS or the Scholar handled the ripples. The adds while not too deadly can really add up if you ignore this mechanic so it's best to keep an eye out and pay attention to end the fight faster as opposed to letting Adds spawn.

So I started the game in April and now I'm at 50 with every Disciple of War/Magic. I went from starting as an Arcanist to going to Bard then going back to Summoner for my main when I got a little bored or sick of playing Bard. I do still enjoy Bard but everyone plays it, there were like runs where I've seen all four DPS being Bards lol.

In this run though I was my Summoner now level synched and thus brought back to using the basic skills, no real big cross class skills, etc. Garuda is basically the same as Emerald Carbuncle but does more a little more damage. Keeping it on Obey is the best idea so as to prevent Backdraft/Shockwave spam and to do more damage when you do learn Shining Emerald/Contagion.

This run was really smooth lol, think we didn't have a single new player though. They must have been coming back here too just as a refresher so when the HM hits we might recognize anything or anyone familiar.

Oh and they recently fixed the concert audio from Fanfest and man it sounds SO much better. Worth listening to for sure if you got the Premium ticket. The Primals FTW!

Story is: After a period of relative silence following the Calamity, the Serpent Reavers have once again taken to terrorizing the inland hamlets of La Noscea, killing the men, kidnapping the women and children, plundering the storehouses and burning what little they leave behind. For years, it was not known how the pirates were able to raid areas so far from the coast, until a local shepherd sighted a band of painted ruffians entering the Sastasha Seagrot, carrying large quantities of sacks and crates. Could it be that there is more to this cave than meets the eye?
