The Final Fantasy XIV dev team just announced today that the option to Need loot in Alliance Raids are coming back via a hotfix next week. But it doesn't really address the reason why the dev team removed this option to begin with that they mentioned in April's Live Letter. Watch this video and find out what this is and see at least one solution that could potentially make looting in Alliance Raids be a bit more fruitful for everyone who runs them.
