8BIG spoilers here of course folks! That's all I can say! :P
All in all, the story in this game while not as good as a main FF title still was pretty good, entertaining at least. Much better than something like Guild Wars 2 honestly. Some players complain the story characters praise your player character too much but that's better than there being a rotten plant-man who takes the credit for all your deeds.. :P
This sets up for the true beginning of the game too.
