Previously, the party returned to past Lucis from Altissia. They concluded the Scraps of Mystery quest line with the quest "X Marks the Spot". They also finished the quest "A Better Absorb Shield". Now, they will work on the last quest for Vyv in Lestallum.

After resuming in Hammerhead, the party fast-travels to Lestallum (time 0:40).

Below the parking lot, they chat with Vyv (time 1:27). Vyv assigns them his last quest, "The Cursed Canvas". He wants a photograph of an evil spirit purportedly inhabiting the Lakshmi, a famous painting in Altissia. So, it's back to Altissia.

At the hotel, the party calls Umbra and chooses to return to the present in Altissia (time 3:10). They arrive in the Leville in Altissia.

There, they take a gondola ride to the Floating Market Station - Maagho (time 4:16).

At Maagho, they visit Weskham (time 4:46). First, they choose the "Talk" option, and a quest destination. Afterwards, they must take on a hunt that has now appeared in Weskham's list, "A Lost Painting". The quarry is Chadarnook. This is the same name as the evil spirit in Relm's painting in Final Fantasy VI.

The party next takes a gondola ride to the Ministerial Quarter Station (time 5:54). They soon disembark at the Ministeral Quarter (time 7:07).

From the elemental deposit canisters in the east of town, they go downstairs.

A scene takes place as they approach the Lakshmi (time 8:21). Chadarnook, the demon within the painting, emerges! Prompto snaps his picture, which the party can deliver to Vyv. As for Chadarnook herself, she is resistant to all weapons and lightning. However, she is weak to fire damage, so bring good fire spells. She can inflict confusion, so take care.

The party takes another gondola ride to the Floating Market Station - Maagho (time 12:23).

Upon arrival, they report to Weskham (time 13:09). "A Lost Painting" complete! The party earns 3 rank stars, 5,480 gil, and a Handkerchief. The Handkerchief keeps its wearer from getting stained.

The party takes a ride to the Leville Station (time 13:54). At the hotel, they return to past Lucis (time 14:27). They arrive at the hotel in Lestallum.

Below Lestallum's parking lot, they report to Vyv (time 15:56). "The Cursed Canvas" complete! The party earns a base of 5,000 EXP and 25,000 gil.

Now, the party will work on some hunts so they can carry out Takka's last quest. The quest requires a hunt, and the party must be Hunt Rank 4 to accept the hunt. They fast-travel to Coernix Station - Alstor in northeastern Duscae (time 17:22).

At the Crow's Nest Diner - Alstor, the party takes on the hunt "Galloping Garulas" (time 18:10). The marks are three Green Garulas and three Garulas in Alstor Slough during the day.

A short distance southeast of Coernix Station - Alstor, the party finds their quarry (time 19:59). Nothing too difficult.

Back at Coernix Station - Alstor, they report to the tipster (time 23:24). "Galloping Garulas" complete! The party earns 2 rank stars, 2,010 gil, and a Hi-Elixir.

Next, the party takes on the hunt "Untamed Wild Horses". The targets are seven Spiracorns in the Alstor Slough during the day.

The party takes the Regalia to the west (time 24:25). They pull over a short distance west of the Alstor Slough parking spot (time 25:23).

The party finds the target southwest of the gas station (time 26:04). They are between the bases of the two rock spires and off the northwest shore of the smaller pond. Again, nothing too difficult.

Back at the Regalia, they start back to the gas station (time 28:55). Naturally, some Imperial troops drop in to stop them. Magitek Assassins are not to be taken lightly.

Despite imperials and rude drivers, the party makes it back to Coernix Station - Alstor (time 31:19).

At the Crow's Nest Diner - Alstor, they report the hunt (time 31:46). "Untamed Wild Horses" complete! The party earns 2 rank stars, 3,870 gil, and a Megalixir.

Then, the party takes on the hunt "Beasts Wallow in the Wetlands". The targets are five Yellowtooths in Alstor Slough at all times.

The party starts driving south (time 32:54). They pull over at the Nebulawood parking spot (time 34:18).

At Digythe Haven, they choose to camp (time 35:20). Ignis cooks up Crown City Dive-Style Dumplings. In the morning, the party does some Elemancy and refills their elemental energy at the haven's deposits.
