Part 23 - End of the Road

And that is Final Fantasy XV! An epic of a game whose biggest fault is its fractured being, split across multiple mediums and expansions, many haven't gotten to experience the full story of XV, which I find quite good and up there with the best of the series. It's not without its faults of course, and most of the criticisms are absolutely valid here, but the heart of the game was always in the right place, even in 1.0 back when the game launched in 2016, it was just missing a lot of connective tissue and insight into the characters and story to make a good game with really rough edges a really great one.

Hopefully my playlist has it organized as best as it can until we get a "Complete" version of this game in the future, somehow, someday, with all of its content in one playable video game package, in the order I feel I presented it here. As it stands, XV's one of the more polarizing and heartfelt entries in the mainline series, and it holds a special place in my gaming heart alongside MGSV as "some of the best incomplete games I've ever played", for what it's worth.
