Part 4 - Acceptance

"Clive discovers that the second Dominant of Fire, the one who slew his brother thirteen years before, was none other than he himself. His resolve to see Joshua's murderer put to the sword undiminished, he begs for Cid to grant him death—but Cid has other plans for his tortured ward."

While many of us, myself included, didn't quite see this as a huge revelation considering the marketing, the cover art, the trailers and just about everything ever since the game was revealed was pointing to this first major twist, mysteries still surrounded the event in question, like "why, tho?" and "there's gotta be more to this". These thoughts were enough to keep me going, if only to see what else I was missing, for a few unanswered questions were burning in my mind and I had to see what would help me piece together the truth of what happened that fateful night that kicked off XVI.
